I would like to share with you in some way the making of the book.
For me it is always better to communicate with photographs and food rather than words as i wouldn't be the best writer.
The experience of publishing and printing my own book was amazing and frightening at the same time. I was making decisions that would last long after I was dead.
I remember someone saying before the process began that the excitement of seeing and smelling the first print would be be a memory that would last forever and it proved to be the case. The feeling at that moment of knowing there is no more you can do. The printers at Craft print were very amenable to my involvement every step of the way. I interfered and asked them to stop the printer to add colour in one section and to remove colour in another as I had a clear picture in my head of what I wanted each finished page to look like. It was an amazing and at the same time frightening experience but I am extremely proud of the results of this adventure.
